Rat Pack Poker News Brief

Ladies and Gentleman here's a quick poker news brief for this week.

  • World Poker Tour Five Diamond World Poker Classic has seen some major action with Antonio Esfandiari as the chip leader until Vanessa Rousso took down a massive pot and is now the chip leader. WSOP Main Event Runner Up John Racener is 2nd and Andrew Robl is in 3rd w/Esfandiari in 5th. Check out http://www.worldpokertour.com/ for the latest updates
  • PokerStars Signed the infamous and officially unknown "Isildur1". The Swedish high stakes online pro is of course thought to be Viktor Bloom (cool name, needs a comic book) and in an interview "Isildur1" said he/she chose PokerStars because it's the largest site and will be a challenge.
  • FOX late night aired PokerStars "Big Game" with Joe Hachem taking down $21k, and Doyle Brunson made a successful bluff with his legendary hand 10-2os
  • Full Tilt Poker updated their software and has finally added a "auto add-on" button to there re-buy structure.
  • Absolute Poker has seen some more low stakes action with player "RJH7350" back at the tables. The Hold'em specialist is back at it after a brief break, look for him to start playing some MTT's and taking down some cash games.
  • "VEGASGUY1982" has been seen at the Full Tilt Poker Tables climbing up in the SNG status with some wins, and has bee seen taking down pots at the RUSH Poker Tables.
