Tidal Wave: Poker News Nov.23-30th

Here's the Tidal Wave of Poker News from Nov.23-30th

  • Full Tilt's Rush Poker Mobile APP was removed from the famous Android market. According to www.Droid-Life.com it was due to maintenance, we think it was more likely b/c the Android Market states "Real gambling is not allowed in the Android Marketpalce.." GOOD NEWS though you can still access Rush Poker Mobile via your phones web browser as long as your phone/mobile device runs Flash 10.1 or higher. Here's the Link https://mobile.fulltiltpoker.com/mobile/
  • U.S. Government seized funds and served a warrant to eWalletXpress affecting business with Bodog, Cake Network, Carbon Poker and a few more. You can expect that eWalletXpress will leave the U.S. Market all together in order to avoid prosecution. **if you remember back in '07 the U.S. Dept. of Justice did something similar to the founders/owners of NETELLER and were actually arrested. All funds were seized until NETELLER agreed to pay a fine and was able to release funds. (think the US over stepped their boundaries there a bit)
  • Phill Hellmuth is hosting a charity poker tournament in his hometown of Madison, Wisconsin on Dec. 18th from 3pm-Midnight the proceeds will go to HospiceCare Inc. One of the prizes offered is a seat in to the WSOP Main Event in 2011
  • In other news Kentucky's Internet Gambling case is just ridiculous. The seizure of domain names for poker sites in Kentucky is just plain stupid. We believe it is really just down to the fact that they would like no competition for the dollars they want to go towards the state lotto or horse racing.
  • The Durrr Challenge is back in swing again with Dwan taking down $13k however he is still down around $640k+ for the challenge
