- This past weekend (and continuing) South Africa's Emerald Casino held the $5,000 WSOP (non-ring event) NL Hold'em Freezeout Main Event with 188 entries and a prizepool of over $866k down to 10 players according to the WSOP website
- Tonight on ESPN we'll be seeing the November 9 being set.
- PokerStars signs Theo Jorgensen who will be appropriately hosting the opening event of the Nordic Championship of Online Poker this Thursday Nov. 4th
- Gus Hansen has another incredible run online and is now only down around $1.9Mil for the year and will hopefully get back to even or better by the end of this month
- James Anderson from Ohio won $525k in WSOP event #11 the No Limit Hold'em Nationally Televised Regional Championship Event
- and last but not least Daniel Nagreanu is still a dork
